Update on City Facilities and EventsIn line with County guidelines for group gatherings, the City of San Marino is excited to begin allowing outdoor group activity permits again at Lacy Park, and hosting outdoor events at the Library. For the time being, the City will not be allowing indoor rentals or events. The City is also preparing for the safe reopening of in-person services at City facilities once we can ensure that both residents and staff have had the opportunity to become fully vaccinated. We look forward to unveiling this plan within the next few weeks, but in the meantime, City facilities will remain closed through May. As always, City staff is still working and business can be conducted online, by phone, via email, and with limited in-person appointments when necessary. For more information about what this means for each department and facility, please visit our COVID-19 status page on the City website: www.cityofsanmarino.org/covid19.
Police DepartmentThe Police Department lobby will now be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency or non-emergency visitors, as well as Live Scan services. Due to the small size, only one visitor or group will be allowed inside the lobby at one time. There will be an area outside the lobby for visitors to wait, unless it is an emergency.
Fire DepartmentThe Fire Department lobby and apparatus floor will be open during normal business hours for routine business, or visitors. Only one visitor will be allowed inside the lobby area at one time, unless it is an emergency.
Update on City Events and CelebrationsDespite all the good news and reopenings, the reality remains that COVID-19 is still with us, and that health orders and restrictions will still be a part of our lives for the foreseeable future. The City is ready to begin returning to normal programming, and is excited to kick this off with the return of our traditional in-person Memorial Day event at Lacy Park. 781b155fdc
