The second script, First Blood , was written by Ridley Scott and was the first script of which I've not been familiar with and, as such, it's the only script I've never read. I did read the script online, however, as a service of some kind, and realised I'd never had a chance to read it. So I did, and I was really impressed.

First Blood is based on a story by Stephen King and, by all accounts, it's one of his better scripts. It's a revenge thriller that takes place in a small town in America, and the main character is a young marine stationed at the local military base. He's a loner, though, and the townspeople give him a hard time, so he decides he'd like to return to the army so he can get away from the town and maybe do some good for other people.
