People have been trying to figure out what it is that I like about Bookworm Adventures. Initially, I liked it because the game had graphics that were so right out of a storybook, and, in this particular instance, it was Patrick Mcgoohan's voice that was narrating the game throughout.
The game plays just like other word games but the fun of it comes in the fact that it is based on old school characters from storybooks which can amuse anyone no matter what your age or reading qualtiy is.
The game also has nostalgia for those of us who had to grow up reading storybooks all the time because they were a part of our childhood. Something like a combination of Scrabble, Words with Friends, and Word Slinger in terms of the interaction between you and the computer to communicate vocally.
The only problem with the game is that, after the initial interaction with the game to do whatever it is you're supposed to do, it is no longer playable. The game needs something like "Play Again" functionality as well as manual control of the characters to make the game playable after some time apart.
This game gets my vote for "The Summer Reboot" . When the game boots up and has you interact with the game, it introduces the game well, tasks you with what needs to be done, and very quickly notifies you of what you need to do in order for it to be playable after the fact. I uninstalled this game after one play, but I already knew what I wanted to do if I did let myself continue.
