Finally there is this setlist, to be used at the next Devin Townsend Project concert, which is my first of the year. I’m a big fan of what has been released so far and I’m looking forward to see what the final tracks end up being.
The 5th Devin Townsend Project album, Absolute Off-the-Record is released tomorrow (9th). In the meantime you can listen to the songs they have already released here. There are also two sets: one with the songs from the compilation at the far right and one with the songs from the first three albums at the top. I think it’s only fair to include this one here because it’s not recorded by Townsend alone and this is the first time I’ve listened to it.
The 2018 Devin Townsend Project album is also out tomorrow but I’ve only listened to the opening track, “Theme from a Lost Video Game”. I like the album cover and I like the title but I’m not sure how I feel about the songs and the production. If you’ve listened to the songs released so far you probably have a better idea. 827ec27edc
